LOS ANGELES (AP) — An alleged gang member accused of killing a man in a Los Angeles barbershop in 2019 has been additional to the FBI’s “Ten Most Wished Fugitives” list, authorities mentioned Wednesday.
The FBI is supplying a $100,000 reward for facts primary to the arrest of Omar Alexander Cardenas. He is considered armed and particularly unsafe, the FBI reported in a assertion.
Authorities consider Cardenas fled the Los Angeles region, perhaps to Mexico, to stay away from prosecution. He may well be employed as a construction worker and there are condition and federal warrants out for his arrest, the assertion said.
Cardenas, whose nickname is “Dollar,” is the 528th addition to the FBI’s record of infamous fugitives that dates back to 1950.
Cardenas allegedly fatally shot Jabali Dumas with a semi-automated handgun on August 15, 2019, in a strip shopping mall barbershop in the Sylmar neighborhood of Los Angeles. Detectives do not know if the males knew every single other.
Cardenas, 27, is allegedly a member of the “Pierce Street” gang, the FBI mentioned. The assertion claimed he may also associate with a avenue gang identified as “Pacoima Van Nuys Boys – Any one Killas.”
