The pop singer Becky G has rejected statements she copied the products and solutions and manufacturer designs of an independent cosmetics firm soon after its founder stated the similarities have been “uncanny”.
LatinX-inspired model Araceli Beauty was released in 2018 by Mexican-born Araceli Ledesma. She wanted to build a splendor brand to stand out in a crowded current market that mirrored her Mexican heritage.
Ledesma 1st released an eye assortment, Jalisco Eyes Package, to spend homage to her residence state of Jalisco. The kits had been designed applying agave oil sourced from Mexico and have an agave illustration on the packaging.

Becky G addressed the allegations in a video clip posted to Treslùce’s Instagram account final week and said Jalisco is identified and celebrated for its agave and that Mexico has only one particular national flower.
