Man sought in 2019 Sylmar homicide added to FBI’s 10 most

A male who is staying sought in connection with a 2019 homicide in Sylmar has been additional to the FBI’s listing of 10 most desired fugitives, authorities introduced Wednesday.

Omar Alexander Cardenas, 25, is preferred by community and federal regulation enforcement officers for his involvement in the killing of a further person on Aug. 15, 2019.

Cardenas allegedly shot Jabali Dumas in the head at the Hair Icon Barber Shop in Sylmar, the FBI said. It is unfamiliar if Cardenas understood the victim.

A neighborhood arrest warrant was issued for Cardenas in April 2020 just after he was billed with murder.

Los Angeles Law enforcement Office detectives later decided Cardenas experienced fled the region and requested assistance from the fugitive activity power.

A federal warrant was then issued for Cardenas last September.

He is allegedly a member of the Pierce Street gang and might associate with the gang known as Pacoima Van Nuys Boys – Any one Killas, in accordance to the FBI.

Cardenas, who has long gone by the nickname “Dollar,” was explained as remaining armed and risky.

He has dark brown hair, brown eyes, usually has a beard and wears prescription glasses. He is about 5 toes 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 240 to 300 kilos.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for facts major to the Cardenas’ arrest.
