Prime Day is back (this year slightly later than the year before), and that means lots of great deals on covetable beauty buys. This year, lots of Strategist-approved things are on sale, including rarely discounted products such as the Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin-C + Turmeric Face Oil, a favorite of Lizzo, who credits it with, as our friends at the Cut put it, “making her skin look good naked.” If you missed out on last year’s sale, there are a few products we called out in 2021 that you’ll be able to grab again, including the TikTok-famous NūFace Mini, which, at $144, is just a fraction of the price, and the Strat-favorite Waterpik, which we dubbed the “only thing worth buying on Prime Day” in 2021. On the topic of Strategist favorites, there are a bunch this Prime Day: Differin acne gel (a dermatologist favorite), Aquaphor’s popular healing ointment (beloved by Accutane users and Ryan Destiny), and the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, which we dubbed the best glossy balm. Most everything we recommend will be something you recognize (or from a brand we’ve written about before). We’ve also triple-checked prices to make sure it’s an actually good deal.
As always, we expect deals to go quickly, so we’ll be checking this post regularly throughout the day. And in case you’re in the market for more than face-sculpting devices and glow-y lip balm, check out our Prime Day hub or our Twitter, which we’re updating regularly.

Like last year, we’re highlighting the NūFace, a facial device that tightens and tones using micro-currents that send little electrical signals to your muscles and skin cells — the idea being that, over time, this will build up the muscle and leave skin looking lifted and toned. It’s currently all over TikTok, but we’ve written about it plenty of times before, with Rio Viera-Newton noting that it changed the natural contour of her face. “I noticed that the elasticity in my skin was tauter and that the hollows of my cheeks were more apparent,” she says.

A dermatologist favorite for everything from cystic acne to butt acne to keratosis pilaris.

A glow-inducing face oil that Lizzo swears by.

Strat-favorite hair-care brand R+Co has discounted a bunch of its products by 30 percent, including this foam conditioner that our friends at the Cut recommend for thin hair.

Senior Strategist writer Liza Corsillo has been wearing this deodorant from Malin+Goetz for years. It smells just like eucalyptus (thanks to the essential oils) and citronella, which helps to keep odor at bay.

When we wrote about the best candles, we recommended Malin+Goetz’s rum scent. We’re almost positive that the bodywash smells just as good.

Fluffy brows become a hair more attainable with this well-reviewed brow serum from GrandeLash that helps brows look bigger and bolder in about six to eight weeks.

This French beauty staple wipes away stubborn makeup but is gentle enough for sensitive skin.

A cult-favorite facial spray that Tavi Gevinson called “mind-clearing.” It uses a blend of aloe, herbs, and rose water, and, in addition to being incredibly refreshing, it doubles as a setting spray.

For curly-haired folks with low-porosity hair — or, more generally, just hair — a lightweight leave-in conditioner that protects against heat damage and cuts down frizz.

A deeply reparative conditioner that one hairstylist says gives hair an “impressive amount of slip” and makes it look healthier once it is washed out.

This nice-smelling lip balm also doubles as a lip gloss.

And if you’d like to try the OG, cult-favorite lip mask, that’s on sale, too.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
